Inspired by memoirist, self-portraiture, and diasporic photographers, 成长的片段 (Pieces of Growing Up) focuses on my own experience as a Chinese-American through the lens of food and language. The handwritten text under each photo are references to party games played when young, to get to know others better, such as “Truth or dare,” "Would you rather," and “Never have I ever.”
